Caroline Maxwell was a documented friend of Mary Kelly, a young prostitute who was brutally murdered by Jack The Ripper.

Caroline Maxwell described Mary Kelly as a "pleasant little woman" who "spoke with a kind of impediment".

Caroline also said Mary "never associated with anyone much, beyond bowing 'Good morning'".
