<h1>Broomhall Street, Sheffield</h1>Broomhall Street is where Peter Sutcliffe picked up local prostitute Olivia Reivers. On Friday 2nd January, 1981, She was walking along Broomhall Street when she was propositioned by Sutcliffe in his Rover.
PC Robert Hydes and Sergeant Robert Ring were to arrest Sutcliffe and Reivers later that evening, after which Sutcliffe would admit to being the Yorkshire Ripper.

<h1>Operation Painthall - Yorkshire Ripper Cold Case Inquiry</h1>Operation Painthall was a little-publicised investigation into a number of unsolved murders and assaults that may have been committed by Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper.
In January 2016 the DCI leading the operation, Detective Chief Inspector Dunkerley, was in contact with Swedish Police following rumours that the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe, was in Sweden at the time of Teresa Thorlling's brutal murder.

<h1>Olivia Reivers - The prostitute in Sutcliffe's car when he was caught</h1>On Friday 2nd January, 1981, in Broomhall Street, Sheffield, Olivia Reivers was picked up by Peter Sutcliffe in his Rover, which was displaying false number plates belonging to a Skoda.
They parked in a driveway of the Light Trades House where Sutcliffe handed Olivia a £10 note for sex.
Luckily for Olivia Reivers, PC Robert Hydes and Sergeant Robert Ring, who were based at Hammerton Road police station, were on duty when they spotted Sutcliffe's car parked in the driveway.
Sutcliffe and Reivers were arrested on suspicion of theft and taken to Hammerton Road police station. Sutcliffe later admitted to being the Yorkshire Ripper whilst in custody.
