On Monday, 26th September, 1977, Jean Jordan gave the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe, directions to allotments on Princess Road, Chorlton, close to the Southern Cemetery.

Jean Jordan was brutally murdered in the allotments on Princess Road.
